The 51st World Ag Expo® Comes to a Close

Tulare, CA –The 2018 World Ag Expo® came to a close on February 15, 2018, with large crowds, cutting-edge exhibits, and gorgeous weather all three days of the show. Celebrating its 51st show, the world’s largest annual agricultural exposition was held at the International Agri-Center® and featured 1,480 exhibitors on 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space. The three day show hosted 106,700 attendees representing 49 states and 63 countries.

“World Ag Expo continues to be a high-quality marketplace for decision makers to network, research, and buy new products and services. We’re proud to work with great exhibitors who attract serious attendees. It’s our best show in the last five years!” said Jerry Sinift, CEO of the International Agri-Center®. “World Ag Expo is a celebration of all things ag, and we are honored to play a small role in supporting the industry that never stops working to feed and clothe the world.”

Feedback has been strong from both exhibitors and attendees. Bret McArron from McArron Mfg had a very positive experience and shared, “When it’s all said and done, I sold at least a quarter million dollars’ worth of trailers at the show. For a little company like me to get those kinds of results is pretty amazing.”

Attendees came from all over the world to learn about the newest ag equipment, services and technology. More than 50 educational seminars were held over three days and covered a variety of topics ranging from irrigation to livestock to agribusiness.

Also in attendance on Tuesday was Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue. Secretary Perdue spoke at opening ceremonies, hosted a Town Hall session and spent the day on the show grounds. Other popular attractions at the 2018 World Ag Expo® included the Ride & Drive areas, Wine and Cheese, and the daily Equipment Showcase. On Wednesday night, more than 7,000 people attended the Bud Light After-Hours party, featuring Craig Campbell.

The 2019 World Ag Expo® will be held February 12-14, 2019. Requests for space are now being accepted for new and returning exhibitors at www.worldagexpo.org.
